One Worth the Wait — Client’s Promotion Selection Comes Through

With the understanding that good news shared is good news doubled, I’m pleased to report that a deserving officer/client has today been selected for promotion to Major 0-4. We helped him navigate the Department of the Army’s Suitability and Evaluation Board (DASEB) process, and as a result, he overcame certain adverse information which had been placed in the performance section of his official military personnel file, or OMPF. This is, without question, the right result for a deserving, talented and extremely dedicated officer.

If your military career is in jeopardy, don’t hesitate to give us a call. We take great pride in advocating for our clients by telling their stories in the right way, to the right people, at the right time.

Mid Year 2010 Update: IRR Involuntary Mobilizations and Exemptions

I’ve fielded a number of questions about the pace of IRR recalls lately. From my vantage point, the pace has slowed significantly since the first quarter. There was a relatively light flurry in the first week of April, but since then, not much. HRC St. Louis (which has, historically, cut IRR mobilization orders) and HRC Alexandria, are both in the process of moving operations and people to Ft. Knox, KY. That move is slated to be completed sometime in September. It’s possible, though uncertain, that this move and the joining of the active and reserve components of Human Resources Command under one roof at Ft. Knox, has affected the nature and scope of IRR recalls. I’ll provide more information as the situation develops this summer. Of course, if you need our help, please don’t hesitate to reach us at 214 363-1828 in Dallas between the hours of 0830 and 1730 Central Daylight Time.
